A little more about me:

My name is Mackenzie your untraditional photographer!

I started photography truly when I was a little girl. My mom handed me a cheap disposable camera (yep, one of those!) during one of our family trips and my passion sparked from there. From then on, the camera was a constant in my life. Most of my core memories include me with some sort of camera taking photos of anything that I thought was interesting - probably a lot of them were of my dogs (sorry mom).

I'm a stay-at-home mom to two incredible kids: my son, Brenigan and my daughter, Adilynne. Being a stay-at-home mom has its pros as it does its cons and I needed something more to define me than just being a mom. So that is when I decided I wanted to turn my passion of photography into a business (eek!). But I'm so wonderfully happy that I did because I have met some amazing human beings and have gotten to hear some incredible stories and capture beautiful memories that my clients get to cherish for years & years to come. So, I get the best of both worlds - be home with my babies making our own memories and I get to preserve others' memories too.

When I'm out in the field with you, you can expect a fun time. I truly enjoy making connection with my clients because that is where the magic happens. Even though I'd say I'm Introverted, I love making you laugh with some unexpected prompts. I'll even give you some space so you can get lost in your lover's eyes and I'm just clicking away when you don't even realize it. Or your babies are running around - dancing and I'm right there with them dancing my silliest dance that'll make them laugh their little butts off. Those in between moments are what I fully enjoy because that is where your true emotion and details come to life. Of course, I love the classic look at the camera, but those candid - having a good time moments are what I live for as an artist and you'll appreciate them too when they are front and center on your wall in your home.

Fun Facts:

1. I'm a total coffee addict but I have to have my coffee really sweet. Truly they should really call me a "creamer addict" Haha. When out and about, you can almost always find me at a local coffee shop or coffee drive thru. I don't really have a favorite coffee shop quite yet so if you have any recommendations let your girl know!
2. I am a full time stay at home Mama to two young kids and they are my whole world. My kids are 18 months apart but watching their bond grow more & more every day has been such a blessing - right next to watching them grow into their individual selves.
3. My spirit animal is a Corgi. They are short to the ground like me (I'm 5'1") and they are super adorable. I have two rescue dogs and both of them are mixed with Corgi. One day I'll have a full bred Corg.
4. I asked my boyfriend what would be one word to describe me, and he said with no hesitation, "Creative" and you know what? I think he is right!
5. I'm a huge music lover. From heavy metal to 90's hip hop, you can catch it all on my playlist. I hope you enjoy going on a joy ride through the genres of music because that is really what my playlist consists of.
